Near mint appearance. This one is tricky. The person who sold it to me claimed this car was original. Hot Wheels did not make a hot pink or salmon pink original Light My Firebird. But they did make a handful of them in watermelon. I've never seen another one, on Ebay or anywhere. Is this one of them? The paint is nearly perfect, though you can see a small spot of toning on the passenger side. The windshield and interior look perfect. The wheels look and roll great. The front axle is a tiny bit warped, so the car turns right. The base looks great, but it looks like someone sanded or cleaned it with an abrasive fluid, and they missed a millimeter around the front rivet, see photo. The grill should be matte black, but this one is glossy. It has definitely been touched up. The rivets look right, but when I zoomed in for the photos, you can see a yellow substance around the rivets. Is this glue? Or cleaner left behind? I don't know.
